Grand Canyon Eco Cabin
About
Get away from it all with a cozy stay in this rustic, yet refined off-the-grid cabin. With porch views of the San Francisco Peaks and stellar sunsets, this is the perfect setting for unplugging and taking in the beauty of the American southwest. A half-hour from the Grand Canyon National Park, there are plenty of things to do in the area. We recommend taking a hike, checking out the Snow Bowl ski area (or sky ride in the summer) and visiting the unique down towns of both Williams and Flagstaff.
Good to know
Off-the-grid and away from it all! At the Grand Canyon Eco Cabin, you are close to all the action, but in an incredibly relaxing and private escape. Completely fueled by the sun, the cabin was built with sustainability and efficiency as a priority, but with no sacrifice of the comforts of home. Just a 30 minute drive from the Grand Canyon National Park means you can arrive in time to see the sunrise - a definite bucket list memory. We also recommend checking out other nearby attractions; including: Bearizona, Flagstaff Downtown, the Scenic Skyride at Snow Bowl and the famous Antelope Canyon (a day trip from the cabin). You will be blown away by the starry night sky visible from the cabin porch. Northern Arizona is a popular stargazing destination because of the low air and light pollution. The cabin is the perfect spot for your family vacation or a getaway with friends. This is the ideal location to serve as your base camp to explore Northern Arizona. We are situated on state-protected, open-range land. You may see a cow or two during your stay grazing on the open plains near the cabin. Hunters are welcome and will enjoy access to state trust land and the Coconino National Forest just down the road from the cabin.
Other Details to Note
There is WiFi at the cabin, though cell coverage is excellent. We have a great board game and puzzle library for your use!

Neighborhood
The cabin sits on 26 acres about 5 minutes down a dirt road. We don't recommend driving the road in your fancy sports car; however, it is very well-maintained. We drive the road in our Toyota Prius with no difficulty. The cabin sits on open range land and you will sometimes be accompanied by grazing cows. Please allow them to graze and they will not disrupt your visit in the least. That being said, it is not far to Williams (about 30 minutes) or Tusayan (about 20 minutes) for groceries, restaurants and attractions.
